Armor is used to protect the player's body from anything that might cause harm from the outbreak, such as Weapons, Items or Zombies. There is many kinds of Armors, each one which greatly extends the Survival Time of any Survivor, such as Defensive Vests, Blast-Resistent Vests, Fireproof Vests, and so. They cannot be looted, altho can be permanently unlocked and purchaseable after the player reaches the requirement to equip it!
