The taser is used for survivors to use as a weapon as an emergency. It stuns the zombies for a short period of time. |

Background Information
A Taser or conducted electrical weapon (CEW)[1] is an electroshock weapon sold by Taser International. It fires two small dart-like electrodes, which stay connected to the main unit by conductors, to deliver electrical current to disrupt voluntary control of muscles causing "neuromuscular incapacitation".
Trivia
The taser is the first "item" that is technically a usable melee weapon
Taser does no dmg and the stun is pretty good but seriously this is a last resort for melee combat
Taser'd zombies can still damage you

King Cake is easily defeated with a taser, sadly.
