Walther's Notes - Pristine
This note was found in an abandoned island mineshaft of sorts with only bits of sediment covering it. It has since been passed along to Daimon, Walther's frenemy, for safekeeping.
Dear heavens, this critter. I say this not with a hint of familiarity, but with full knowledge of hatred stemming from my tone. Never would I have believed that the virus could travel to such a calm nocturnal animal. I quite remember how my day went as I walked into an unfinished village of sorts within the confines of a rather eerie mountain. My mates and I were atop an old cart elevator hauling sticks of dynamite to a blocked off cave entrance as another lad below me was writing of his discovery of the abandoned settlement. It was quite late at night dare I say and many of the critters had come out to feast, including this one. As we blew down the cave entrance, we all received a whiff of a particular scent reminiscent of cow excrement. Unbeknownst to us, we were inhaling the putrid scent of this critter's guano it uses as an attack mechanism of sorts. Good luck firing off at it, as my mates and I attempted to no avail.
Background Story
Who could've believed that other species could get affected as badly as us Humans? Apparently, the Cavebat.
Remarkable in its ability to spew heaps of guano as it takes flight, the Cavebat is most commonly found in dimly-lit locations across the globe. The only way to efficiently deal with these beasts is by emitting EMP waves. For some reason, it seems to react negatively to this.
Walkthrough
Zombies don't infect animate objects other then humans... Right? Well clearly not as the virus was contracted by bats to form the Cavebat. Now they can shoot guano at survivors and hurl at extremely high speeds to knock you off your feet. They can easily be countered with the EMP Grenade. The Cavebat is considered the supporter class of the game.
