The Zombie is the most common infected in R2D. All Zombies appear to have the zombie package on. The skin can vary between light green and dark green.
Walther's Notes - Restored
This note was found inside a basement's drawer and in good condition. A rare artifact by Walther himself to have not been ruined through the course of time, kept safe by Daimon, his frenemy.
Hypersensitive to light and found roaming the countryside in packs, the infected eagerly await their next meal as they tread the rocky lands on which this planet consists of. Their claws are reported by my colleagues and I to measure up to at least an inch and a half in length and as sharp as you could possibly expect from an item similar such as a razor purchased in a hardware store. They have the unique ability of calling stragglers over to command in their various assaults against settlements created by survivors. Though feeble alone, they bear the true meaning of 'strength in numbers' as they continue to absolutely ravage the living masses.
Background Story
An unfortunate living soul that was before a father, a husband, a son, a friend, and an all-friendly survivor. Now, they are unstoppable fresh-eating devices that don't think twice about anything else other than consuming flesh from living beings; even when they are getting damaged.
It's a mystery as to how these beings came to be. All that is known, however, is that they won't stop until your dead. Even after you've gone limp, they'll continue to tear at your flesh until you're nothing more than a pile of bones and dried blood.
Walkthrough
They don't have any special abilities, making them extremely easily to be shot down. But watch out for packs; they might be super weak and easily killed, but they can overwhelm anyone, since they are everywhere as far as the eye can see. One might be behind you and you wouldn't know. One might be waiting you on the next room. You just don't know where and when they will attack you. The more survivors that are killed, the more Zombies are born. The Zombie is considered the all-around class for the game.

Advantages
- Can form hordes with other Zombies, overwhelming survivors.
- Slightly faster than survivors.
- Could be argued to be better then the Boomer.
- Much better than AI Zombies.
Trivia
- The Zombie is the most common Infected.
- The Zombie is unpurchaseable.
- Some Zombies may be wearing the Fireproof Vest or the Standard Vest (50% chance), meaning that they are more resistant to more damage.
- This was added in Version 37.
- There is a rare chance you can become Frank Sinatra.
